What is the FPS and resolutions in mobile device?

Base on NVR configuration, the table below indicates the mobile's behavior. The limitation is suitable for iOS and Android system.

1. DIGIEVER NVR UHD/Pro+/Pro Series:

a) Live view:

  • If video format is MPEG4/ H.264, NVR will “transcode” the stream as JPEG format to mobile liveview(VGA size).  The max FPS is 5.
  • If video format is Motion JPEG, NVR will directly send stream as JPEG format.   The max FPS will up to 5. The resolution will be the same as NVR's setting.


b) Playback:

  • If video format is MPEG4/ H.264, NVR will “transcode” the stream as JPEG format to mobile liveview(VGA size).  The max FPS is 1.
  • If video format is Motion JPEG, NVR will directly send stream as JPEG format. The max FPS will up to 1. The resolution will be the same as NVR's setting.

 

 

2. DIGIEVER NVR Lite Series:

a) Live view :

  • NVR will send stream as JPEG format to mobile live view in Motion JPEG/ H.264/ MPEG4 format. FPS depends on bandwidth limitation and the Max FPS is 5. The resolution will be same as the NVR setting.


b) Playback :

  • If video format is H.264/ MPEG4 , NVR will “transcode” stream as JPEG format to mobile playback(VGA size). The max FPS is 1.
  • If video format is Motion JPEG, the resolution will be the same as NVR configuration and present the playback as 1 FPS.
