How to enable edge recording with AXIS cameras?

Step1: Enable Edge Recording and configure relative settings.

           Go to camera's web configuration page: Event > Action Rules

           

Step2: Check SD card is readable and Format SD card.

            Go to System Options > Sotrage > Overview

           

Step3:  Make sure NVR and camera’s date and time are synchronized.
             It is recommand to enable NVR's NTP syncronization.

            Go to System Options > Security > Date & Time to set up time-zome and enable "Synchronize with NTP server"

           

            Go to System Options > Network > TCP/IP > Advanced to set up  NTP setting

            

If there is a disconnection between camera and NVR, camera will start edge recording and video files will be saved in its SD card.

NVR will reload the the videos from camera as normal recording type once NVR is reconnected to camera.
